the derm

So you want to know the disadvantages of using Obagi. You've done your due diligence and research and heard good things about Obagi Nu-Derm products. Well, I'm not going to say that they don't work. They do. They are effective for 95% of people who use it. So, what is the disadvantage of using it? You'll find out in this article. Basically the disadvantage is commonly termed the 'Uglies phase'. It includes skin redness & irritation and peeling, flaky skin... on your face... Get it? That's the process and it's normal because the old, blemished skin falls off and reveals new, smoother, younger looking skin. Yes, it is uncomfortable (and ugly looking) while it lasts, but if you have severe skin issues then definitely try Obagi Nuderm products and it will probably be worth it... the 3 - 4 weeks that it lasts go by quite fast and then you're left with beautiful skin. But if you have more moderate skin issues then you can use M.D. Forte that utilizes glycolics and doesn't really have any side effects. Or you can consider using Kinerase that is known to use Kinetin (a plant extract that allows leaves to retain their moisture) and has absolutely no side effects or irritation. Use these products first and if they don't diminish your sun & age spots, wrinkles, etc. then you can consider using Obagi products. The disadvantages of using Obagi NuDerm products are basically present for the first 3 - 4 weeks and then you enjoy the lasting benefits. Just for the records, an Obagi cycle is 6 weeks and you generally do 3 cycles, totaling 18 weeks. After achieving the skin results that you wanted it's best to remain on an Obagi maintenance regimen, if you want to results to last.
